The My Old Digs Story
A few years ago, we received a letter from a couple who had lived in our 1917 home back in the 1970's. They included old photos and asked if they could visit again.
That space—now our second floor—was once their apartment. When they came over, we walked through the house together—hearing their stories and seeing our home through their eyes.
That moment stayed with me.
A year later, we helped arrange a visit to my husband's childhood home as an anniversary surprise for his parents.
The oak tree in the backyard that once stood about 10 feet tall was now over 40 feet high. The small nick in the wall from the refrigerator door was still there. And my husband’s childhood bedroom had become a closet.
We laughed, shared stories, and shed some happy tears—something none of us will ever forget.
Some places aren’t just addresses—they hold pieces of who we were, who we loved, and who we've become.

If a hosted visit is preferred or requested, all details and any additional costs will be clearly shared before booking is finalized

2. We personally coordinate the experience with the homeowner or a trusted My Old Digs host.
3. Once details are confirmed, we'll finalize scheduling and share any final pricing or hosting details.
4. No payment is due until plans are confirmed.
